Summary
Come along and explore what plants, insects and other wildlife are in your local environment.Detailed description
Everyone is welcome, whether you're a biodiversity enthusiast or simply want to get outdoors and explore your local environment.
We've been installing a new community pocket garden and biodiversity improvements along Barnwell Verge, and are exploring what wildlife is there!
The group is meeting at 9:30am at the end of Rayson Way on Barnwell Road. All equipment is provided and no experience or plant identification knowledge is required! Join us and learn about local wildlife together 🦋
About Abbey People
We are a vibrant community charity in the Abbey Ward of Cambridge, improving the lives and wellbeing of Abbey residents. We do this through targeted community projects, provision of general support such as a community Food Hub, supporting access to education and employment, projects to improve the environment, and by developing a culture of volunteering in the community.
