Summary

Throughout the year the Fundraising Team run several different events raising vital funds for the Hospice, why not get involved!

Detailed description

Do you wish you could support a local charity with raising money but the idea of marathons and challenges is all a little scary or time consuming? Then look no further! Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is always looking for volunteers to support with our fundraising initiatives behind the scenes. This could range from hands-on support on the day of an event or preparing materials or cakes in advance. Without the help of volunteers we cannot deliver these large scale events successfully. Your support as little as once a year makes a huge difference.

For example, did you know:

In 2024 our Christmas Tree recycling scheme was supported by 160 volunteers, who collected 4065 trees and raised over £100,000 in donations!?

In 2024 our well loved Bridge the Gap event was supported by 120 volunteers who helped us to raise over £35,000 for Arthur Rank Hospice and Romsey Mill

One day of support for each of those volunteers has equated to vast amounts of money raised for this important cause.

The Events Fundraising team are always in need of enthusiastic events volunteers to help support them. This could involve:

Marshaling

Cake Baking

Supporting with registrations or refreshments

Lead and Back Walkers

Event set up/Pack down

Van Drivers and Crew Members
