We need you to support and manage our volunteers from initial interest, track, encourage, challenge, develop and celebrate success, both individual and teams.Detailed description
This rewarding role offers a chance to get to know a diverse range of people from around the world, and use administration, communication and leadership skills to spread healthy smiles and improve lives. :-)
To help us maximise the input and impact of our growing number of local and international volunteers, we need an amiable and capable people person to oversee and track their activities. Initially alongside our founder, Jo Dawson, but then to takeover responsibility when ready, for duties including:
- Interviewing and inducting volunteers.
- Placing volunteers in different roles based on their qualifications.
- Maintaining accurate volunteer records.
- Assessing motivation and engagement.
- Creating a healthy volunteer environment.
- Celebrating success.
Depending upon the volunteers' availability and time zone there will be a need for flexible hours, arranged for mutual convenience.

We bridge the gap by working with schools and dental professionals to:
● Reduce the risk of tooth decay through education and practical solutions.
● Empower kids to make healthy choices and gain lifelong skills with fun, engaging programs.
● Support parents and caregivers with clear, accessible information.
Our Raisin Awareness Initiative:
Did you know dried fruit snacks can contribute to tooth decay? We're replacing these with fresh, tooth-friendly carrots. It's a simple change that makes a big difference!
Our Awesome Smiles September Stations:
A fully accredited digital resource pack for primary schools to get children excited about caring for their smiles. Designed to be easy for teachers to set up with hands-on activities to get the children engaged. Suitable for all ages from reception to year 6.
