We need help keeping track of income and expenditure so we can keep Cambridge Mental Health Network operating smoothly.Detailed description
You'd be making a big difference to people living with mental health challenges whilst gaining experience running a voluntary sector organisation. We estimate a a time commitment of around five hours each month. Tasks include:
- looking after the CMHN bank account;
- keeping track of income and expenditure on Excel;
- issuing invoices to around 30 members for annual membership fees;
- helping us budget, manage a simple cash flow and plan;
- reporting to the Steering Group on finance matters;
- paying invoices.
Ideally we would like someone who is able to commit to both regular attendance at quarterly Steering Group meetings as well as quarterly Network meetings, however we recognise this may not be possible and can be flexible.

CMHN brings together service providers from both the public and voluntary sectors, helping us to learn from each other, share best practice, strengthen partnerships, create a sense of unity and make it easier to find out what’s on offer for people facing mental health challenges locally.
