Summary
Could you spare an hour to help and maintain the graveyard?Detailed description
The graveyard is divided into areas such as Spring flower, Summer flowers, wild areas and there are areas of cut grass. We had been awarded by The Wildlife Trusts the Bronze award for The Cambridgeshire Churchyard Conservation. We are looking to improve and encourage the wildlife in the graveyard.
We welcome anyone who has some time to give us, there is no task to small even if you can take care of one grave we would appreciate it.
We will provide the tools. Available for family volunteering.
1st Saturday of the month 10.30 am till 12.00 pm. Teas, coffees and freshly made cakes available.
About Holy Trinity Church, Coates
We are a small church community with an open graveyard. This means that we get no help from the council to cut grass and maintain the graveyard as visitors would like to see it kept.
