Summary
Retail assistants assist in the shop with sales, stock control and the efficient running of the shop. We are particularly looking for volunteers at weekends.Detailed description
By getting involved, you could
• Become part of a friendly and dedicated team

What's involved?
• Assisting with the receipt, pricing and display of stock
• Providing advice and information to visitors on stock and stock layout
• Becoming proficient in using the till and selling to visitors
• Helping to ensure the shop is clean and tidy at all times
• Observing all prescribed financial systems and procedures
• Helping to maintain the security of stock within the shop
• Dealing with enquiries from visitors relating to Wimpole Estate and the work of the National Trust in general

• We’ll help you get to know Wimpole Estate, how you can help and how you will work with the rest of the team – with induction and training
• We provide equipment to help you do this role well and safely
