Summary
As a laundry room assistant you will be supporting our staff and taking care of the washing of towels, blankets and animal bedding.Detailed description
This role is based at Block Fen Animal Centre.
You will also be ensuring that the laundry room is kept clean and tidy at all times and checking that machines are in proper working order.
This is an important role as the supply of fresh laundry is essential for the animals in our care clean, warm and comfortable.
We'll train you to use the machines and give you training in Manual Handling as some lifting and carrying will be involved.
Please be aware that this can also be a dirty role due to the nature of the work at the centre ( please see advert for more details)
Please note: Volunteers must be aged 18 or over
Days: we are looking for people who could be available on a Tuesday and/or Friday
