Summary
Mentors & Befrienders provide individual support aiming to empower & increase the confidence of individual members who need a little bit of extra encouragement.Detailed description
Mentors & Befrienders are our most trusted roles at Safe Soulmates, this is because they work with our most vulnerable members due to this applicants must be consistent, trust worthy, punctual and reliable. We are looking for a long term commitment to volunteering for these roles due to the trusted nature.
Examples of activities that Mentors & Befrienders facilitate:
1) Walks with Soulmates in the local area,
2) Helping individual Soulmates build confidence through accessing the community (helping a Soulmate do their shopping at a local supermarket),
3) Going to a café.
