Summary
Take part in an Assembly which introduces students to what apprenticeships are and the different types available in their region.Detailed description
Typically 45-60 minutes, to one year group | 13-18 years old (Years 9-13)
Ambassadors take part in an Assembly which introduces students to what apprenticeships are and the different types available in their region. A Form the Future staff colleague kicks off the event by giving an 'Apprenticeships 101' presentation.
Our ambassadors then step in to expand and paint an insightful picture about the apprenticeship(s) offered by your company and share what skills and attributes might be sought from a potential apprentice.
To bring the talk to life, we have found it works particularly well to bring an existing apprentice along, who can share some of their experiences. The talk includes time for a Q&A with the students.
Apprenticeship Talks are a great opportunity to ensure young people in our region are aware of the practical pathways and opportunities available to them via an apprentice route.
Would suit you if you:
- Work with an organisation that offers apprenticeships
- Have been an apprentice or supported one
- Are prepared to give an honest insight into the options, challenges, opportunities and benefits of becoming an apprentice
