About Tithe Barn Trust
We are a group of local volunteers rescuing and bringing back to life an over 500-year old listed Grade 2 building – the Tithe Barn located in Landbeach – just to the north-east of Cambridge.Over the recent years we have come far to make the hidden gem
shine – from campaigning to save the barn from sale into private hands to setting up a charity (CIO), undertaking historical research, fundraising to ensure specialist repair of the heritage building, installation of two eco-toilets and achieving a long lease to enable car parking and more on the adjacent pasture.
We already have a good track record in attracting external funding and our members, visitors, people locally and further afield as well as anonymous donors have made generous contributions.
We are building up a dedicated volunteer team, which sustains the barn
and its activities – they make the heart of the Trust beat!
